About us

The NICU Lived Network is for those with lived NICU experience (parents as well as those born early or sick) who want to learn more and use that experience to assist in research, advocacy, and clinical practice improvement. Created by long-time parent representatives Natalie Merida, Melinda Cruz Turner and Emma Davis, the network features 15-20 minute episodes with health professionals and parents. Our purpose is to open the door between the work happening within NICUs and those who want to share their experiences for positive change. Every episode will share a variety of topics including: - current trials - the networks behind the NICUs - newly published papers - the importance of consumer representatives - speak with other NICU parents - hear from adults who were born premature - and ways you can use your NICU lived experience to have a voice and impact change. Thank you for joining us, Nat, Mel and Em.
